MVES - We live in such a caring community! So thankful our area churches are distributing Grab & Go bags each day to our MVSD students! Here is MVES’s own Pam Smith, along with her husband (Greg) and father (Don Thomas) passing out Grab & Go bags at Fifty-Six Missionary Baptist Church. We appreciate you all!!

Special thanks to our lunch crew preparing our Grab & Go food bags each day! We appreciate you!

MVES - If your child has internet access at home, scholastic.com and ABCMouse.com are offering free on-line resources! These are both educational and child-friendly sites.

Thank you First Baptist Church for assisting MVSD in meal distribution for our students!!! You all are awesome!!!

MVES - Good morning!! Thank you to all of our parents working with our students at home. We had a parent ask if they should correct their child’s paper if needed. Please do! That’s what we do in the classroom. We all learn from our mistakes, and it is best to catch it immediately. First, ask the student to check his/her problem again. Most times, they will see what the did wrong & will self-correct. If not, then explain what is incorrect & have them try it again. Your child’s teacher is available by email if you need any assistance!

For parents looking for educational activities online, Scholastic is a wonderful resource.

Congratulations!!! We made it through our first AMI Day!! We can do this!! If you would like a schedule to follow for your child, here is a good suggestion! This is only a suggestion, not a requirement 😊
